Frugal is Fabulous.

By jenny

Yesterday I was digging around online for some Divvy partners and went down the path of “frugal” bloggers. I used to think being frugal was equivalent to being stingy or cheap, but these days frugality is admirable and something we all strive for to some extent.

(Side note, I was listening to a rap song the other day and one of the lines in the song was “If you’ve got money and you know it, take it out your pocket and show it and throw it! Like thisaway and thataway…” HA! What a ridiculous thing to rap about…literally THROWING money. Even if I did have tons of cash floating around, throwing it by the fistful into the air doesn’t make any sense to me. But then again, I’m a 27 year old white female that lives in the ‘burbs. So there’s probably a lot I don’t understand.)

Anyway.

I found these blogs and loved them and want to share them with you. If you’re looking for ways to be more frugal, check out these bloggers and consider using Divvy as a way to save money by borrowing or renting things from friends or use Divvy to generate a little extra cash by renting out what you own.

Get Rich Slowly is a popular blog focusing on finance and simple ways to cut back your spending. The blogger even posts his own discretionary spending each year!

Neat Living is about keeping your life simplified, organized and frugal. Good overall tips.

Boston Gal’s Open Wallet is written by a single woman trying to make it in the city. She updates frequently and has a very honest, straightforward approach.

Enjoy!
